Ceremony for MCLA’s new science building

NORTH ADAMS – Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will hold a brief “topping off” ceremony to mark the last piece of steel being raised into the frame of the Center for Science and Innovation on Thursday, Sept. 13.

Officials, including MCLA President Mary K. Grant and campus community members, will sign the beam at 1:30 p.m. The beam will be hoisted around 2 p.m.

The MCLA Center for Science and Innovation construction site is located on Blackinton Street in North Adams.
