Lee business expands to Australia

LEE – One local business is expanding, and it is doing so in a big way.

Zogics, LLC, a leading manufacturer and distributor of gym wipes, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, eco-friendly air fresheners and more has been operating out of Lee since 2006, but now it is looking to expand down under with the opening of a new warehouse and distribution center in Sydney.

“Zogics was built on the idea that lower prices don’t have to come at the expense of high quality products or great customer service,” said Zogics owner Paul LeBlanc. “For years, we’ve been shipping orders to eager Australian customers all the way from the U.S. Now, we’re thrilled to serve these customers from within Australia with lower prices, faster shipping and even better customer service.”

Going global is not a totally new idea for Mr. LeBlanc. Zogics already serves customers in all 50 U.S. states, as well as in more than 35 countries. But this is the first international warehouse for the growing brand.

Zogics Australia officially opened in June 2013 and serves all parts of the country.

Steve Ankers, operations manager for Zogics Australia and a fitness center owner/operator, has a long history with the company.

“I began as a customer of Zogics’ disinfecting wipes for my own gyms, which I imported directly after seeking a lower cost alternative to what was available domestically,” said Mr. Ankers. “I was immediately impressed with quality of their products and the company as a whole, and set out to work with them to set up distribution in Australia.

Mr. Ankers also added the brand is really catching on in the country since the expansion.

“Zogics Australia is already off to a great start,” he said. “We’re adding new customers daily, and the initial feedback has been extremely positive.”
