PITTSFIELD – Dr. Wade J. Gebara, who joined the Berkshire Medical Center family to help push for the $30 million cancer facility at Hillcrest Hospital shared his vision:
“Building of a $30 million dollar cancer center is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” Dr. Gebara said.
“This wall provide a loving and environmental sensitive cancer center for the Northeast for generations to come,” the doctor noted.
“This is a investment that will continue to positively impact this generation and future generations,” Dr. Gebara said.
The good news is that BMC and Dana Farber are almost set to announce a joint operation that will help the patient here get a review almost seamlessly from Boston.
The affiliation will give BMC a step upward with its planned new care facility plus a new radiation machine along with its to be announced formal affiliation with Dana Farber.
There are a number of ongoing meetings to help fund the new site and get the hospital affiliated with Dana Farber.
